I have had my 172 nearly a couple on months now. I absoloutely love it, I have always wanted one and it makes me smile every time I see it. It is by far the best bang for your buck IMO and it looks amazing (mine is black)!
Having riden an R6 for a year though, I miss the massive kick in the pants when you hit the band, and the 5k kick in the Clio is fairly tame.
I have never been in a Civic Type-R, but is the VTEC kick more pronounced than the 1*2 and are they faster than the Clios?
I saw 5th gear when they pitched the 182 against the Type-R, and there was nothing in it.
