172 CUP or Trophy with ITB ?

Yo,

I'm thinking of getting a secondary fun car.

I've always wanted an ITB'd car :]

Was thinking about getting a trophy or 172 cup to do it on, is it a no-brainer to get a Trophy or not?

Has anyone else done it on one or are they kept standard to retain value with them being so cult.

I presume it'll handle the extra power better with it's pretencious suspension?

How much heavier are they than a cup though? could you get cup parts etc to get it to the same weight?

I don't really have a budget as such, but I was thinking of throwing 10k at it.
