Some updates for this one!
Having stood still for 2.5 years and at times forgetting its sat there, it was decided that the Clio makes a comeback.
As it sat in my compound -
Spare parts storage bin essentially! -
I'm buying the necessary parts and the guys in the workshop nextdoor are carrying out all the work required in exchange for driving it on track.
The job list includes;
Replace alternator due to overcharging and knackering a dry battery.
Replace cambelt kit, dephaser and water pump.
Fit 182 manifold and K-tec link pipe
Replace front ARB bushes
Fit Gripper diff to gearbox
The aim was to complete the car in time for Bedford on the 19th June but unfortunately a delay in receiving the diff from Pure Motorsport and then a lack of bearings meant the car wasn't ready in time.
Engine out
The gearbox is still with Select motorsport who have installed the gripper diff, I am planning to pick this up tomorrow and then the guys can continue work.
