How many times have you done CSF Freebone??
*drops mic
Sadly not. Honestly mate, it was a struggle just to drive let alone worry about the go pro. It was 31 degrees at 1pm. And I’m fat.Awesome work, nice times. Any onboard?
TBH knowing my gopro it'd probably record for about 20 seconds then overheat.Sadly not. Honestly mate, it was a struggle just to drive let alone worry about the go pro. It was 31 degrees at 1pm. And I’m fat.
I hope you drive better than you spell.Chop chop, the seasons on full swing
Hoping to blow your doors off at CCS 😉

I’ll be trailering mate, I don’t know how big you think my trailer is, but not that big. 😂You driving or trailering the car? If the latter you got space/ability to take mine too?
I could then bring all the spares and a kitchen in the van.
LETS TALK

I have access to a flat bed, but it has no towbar.Previously I have seen you with a flatbed and then a trailer...

I’m also buying an X5 and a trailer this week. But I can’t combine the two sadly.
You’re more than welcome to load my car up with your belongings mate. Should make the trip a bit more comfortable. No worries. Will have to have a think. Unsure if driving the car all that way is viable/sensible
It is also the weekend around my Wife's 40th....
Absolutely no idea mate. It was about 12 years ago we put the engine in. 😂Good times, what cable you running then as all us mk1 f4r crew use the mk1 cable still
Track car first, everything g else after. Man rules. On holiday in Spain with your hot wife and hilarious kids that look like great fun, yet still thinking about your track car, f*cking love you Gumbo!

It worked perfectly fine before with a standard clutch. But I guess a stronger/different clutch is beyond the realms of whatever is in there.
It’s a new box with a gripper. Been recommended to uprate the clutch by numerous people. For the sake of an extra £350 to save an £1800 gearbox, rightly or wrongly I thought it best.Sometimes need to trick the mechanism too for it to work, the ratchet on the pedal end can be a pig, shout me up if you need a step by step to set it as I've done it about a million times, lol
Why may I ask have you moved to a different clutch?
Not wanting to sound like an arsehole but that does sound a bit like b****cks to me, ok it's not quite a reasonable comparison as I've been running an F7 fitment clutch but I've ran a Volvo 480 turbo clutch (cheap as f**k too) for years with a Gripper'd box & the only time it's really failed me is now that I've got the Sadev it can't handle flat shifting at 8k so I'm only now fitting a Sachs motorsport clutchIt’s a new box with a gripper. I’m the one who told him to run the Sachs clutch because I’ve seen more valeo failures than I care to remember. This is the ‘oem’ valeo unit. Strangely the genuine Renault valeo doesn’t have the same failure rate. Not wanting to sound like an arsehole but that does sound a bit like b****cks to me, ok it's not quite a reasonable comparison as I've been running an F7 fitment clutch but I've ran a Volvo 480 turbo clutch (cheap as f**k too) for years with a Gripper'd box & the only time it's really failed me is now that I've got the Sadev it can't handle flat shifting at 8k so I'm only now fitting a Sachs motorsport clutch
Seems like it's just an F4 thing then, what actually fails on them?I’m the one who told him to run the Sachs clutch because I’ve seen more valeo failures than I care to remember. This is the ‘oem’ valeo unit. Strangely the genuine Renault valeo doesn’t have the same failure rate.
The straps break and just machine their way through the casing.Seems like it's just an F4 thing then, what actually fails on them?
