182 alloys on a Ph1 172??? what do you think?

i am just curious as to whether or not this could look any good? my car is dropped on sportlines so they could look quite nice and fit snug or they could look completely gash! lol

any pics or opinions? i have tried searching but no luck!

Ive seen a pic and it did look a bit odd, I think the Ph2 172 alloys would suit more if anything!

182 wheels seem to look a bit bulky on the ph1's. as said try out some ph2 172 wheels.

Link to pics of my motor mate, which had 182 cup alloys when I got it. I've swapped them now for some anthracite F1's, but still not sure if I've done the right thing??? Think the cup ones would look better than STD on a silver phs1 personally...

hmm personally.. not keen on tiny alloys.. i reckon 182 wills in anthracite will look nice..

Tbh mate only had them on for a week or 2, but haven't really noticed any difference. Also tbh I'm taking it nice and easy as going for belts doing next Thursday...

Must be the OZ 15" as std for me to change them is to lose some of the 172 Mk 1 magic for me

No No no no, other way round yes i.e F1's on a 182.

think the 182 alloys are too pointy and have to sharper line (if that makes sense) for the roundness of the phase 1
