182 and my brothers 172

been wanting to get some pics of my car and my brothers car together for a while now. so this morning we both gave the cars a bit of a clean an drove to a quiet little spot not too far from my house.
the roads were still a bit wet due to typical english weather so we took it nice and steady, still got some crap spraying up my car tho lol. pretty happy with the pics.

yeah i know what you mean, black cars look mint when they are clean (just never keep clean!). flame red is an awsome colour tho mate.

hello mate, the photos were taken near werrington, not far from the bmw garage. on the old road that used to go to marholm.

yeah i think so too. i keep seeing a more and more about. think i know of at least 8 sports in peterborough. only about 4 of them are on here tho.
would be good to have a p'boro / camb's meet sometime.

hmmm. well we tested that out today too.
both cars are standard performance wise (no engine mods) i had a full tank of fuel in my 182 my bro had a near empty tank in the 172.
i have no rear seats. so it prob makes up for the fuel weight difference.
then there is the difference in drives, gear changes etc but anyway...

on a rolling start at 20mph the 172 edged in front for the first 2 seconds! i was worried!! it was only infront by like 4ft, bumper to bumper, after that my car edged infront and towards the end of a 1/2 mile road i was infront by a car length or so.
two very evenly matched cars! to be honest there is barly anything in it. one slip of a gearchange and i would have been behind

the diamond is the neaest thing i could find in a rattle can to black gold. its not spot on but very close. the diamond jus carefully pulls off. just be carefull not to break the pins that attatch it. you have to pull the diamond pretty hard to remove it!
easy job tho and looks good. main thin is in the prepping so the paint can stick. seen someone on here with a black gold with an orange diamond! looks mint!
