182 bonnet alarm switch...

does anyone know the part No: and how much these cost as mine is playing up? it has set the alarm off a couple of times in the last 2 weeks i sprayed it with contact cleaner this morning to see if that helps any, the car is still under warranty but i dont really want to take it in for this as i know they will have the car all day and then turn round and say there is nothing wrong with the switch or lie to me and tell me they have changed it when they have not (like they did with my headlight washer):dapprove:

No idea, the alarms arnt fitted in the factory, they are fitted when the cars come to the country, the parts are not listed in the dialogies (that I can find).

For now if it keeps setting the alarm off take the connector off and bridge the 2 contacts on the plug.

pretty sure its the bonnet switch it went off last week and i gave it a quick spray and it seemed to fix it but it went off last night at 3.00am and again at 6.30am so i unclipped the switch and drowned it in contact cleaner and its been fine all day (up to now).the reason i think its the bonnet is because after it went off the alarm was giving a constant beep but after depressing the switch a few times it would reset ok..
