My car is currently at the dealers with the clutch in bits, I have done 12k miles.
I could feel a vibration through the clutch pedal when changing gear, which I have been told is a pressure plate related problem.
What is the standard procedure when undertaking warranty work of this nature? A clutch kit comes with a pressure plate, release bearing and a drive plate. Should all these items be fitted as a matter of course?, or is it acceptable to just replace the pressure plate?
My car is going to be at the dealers for at least 3 days as they have just told me they need to order a n/s/f wishbone as there is play in the ball joint.
