Hi All, i noticed while my car was on the ramp having its new exhaust fitted there was a rod of some description hanging down.
The rod is about 4inch long with a cup at each end, there is some sort of switch fastend to the floor pan which one end fastens to, and on the axle beam there is a small ball which the other end had come adrift from.
I managed to fasten it back ok but was wondering what it was for...there are no brake pipes connected to it only a electrical wire.Could it be something to do with the Xenon headlights as these are supposed to be self-leveling??
The switch is located between the exhaust and the nearside of the car.
