Hi, Im looking to purchase and import a 182 Trophy to New Zealand. Can anyone tell me if a Trophy has a special VIN compared to a standard 182?
The reason I ask is because imports have to meet safety and emissions regs.
I guess on paper a Trophy isnt as safe as a standard 182? A Trophy doesnt have seat airbags? Where a standard 182 does? Xenons are also classed as safety options here.
Also if a Trophy has a unique VIN there is an alternative way to import the car for me, which is with a special interest exemption.
