Put a 182 and C-VXR around a tight and twisty track like Anglesea (1.1 miles) and id say the 182 would win. Put them around a track like Silverstone where (longer) id go for the VXR.
All modern cars have a more “detached” feel. Than older ones. From a supermin to a large sallon.
I feel I can go faster in my VXR than I did in my clio but that may be because the vxr is more forgiving if you make a mistake, so I have more confidence in it. Better breaks too.
But std V’s sdt there isn’t much in it either way and down to the driver.
id say as per millerlights comment. vxr on a quicker track be it only just, and tight circuit/most british tracks id pick the 182, assuming it had cup packs.
i ate a corsa vxr in my old lcr - but still quite impressed with how it went being i was over 100hp more.
