Also I send me map over to andy@clioturbo to have a look as he things there's a slight issue with ignition timing after he seen the video of the turbo glowing and that my injectors are at 75% duty at 260bhp which is to high

turns out ignition timing is it out 10 degrees [emoji15] which is b****cks

Made a mistake not taken it to scoff

Looks like I'll be putting my tail between my legs and phoning scoff to fix my problem

Take it back to Russ and get him to sort it FOC. If this doesn't come out with a satifactory conclusion, then take it to scoff.

Well managed to find replacement throttle body for the car turns out it came off a 1.6 8v...would have saved me loads of time hunting through car breakers on monday lol ive order 2 just to be save only costing me £40 and one is new old stock

but i managed to sheer the bolt that goes through the dogbone mount into the bell housing.... But managed to get it removed tonight and fitted new bolt...hub bolts makes a good replacement

Oil leak is still there, it's stressing me out now but I'm gona give myself a week off before I blow a gasket with it lol

Thought you were getting a hose made by pirtek or similar like both me and stu said?

Pritek couldn't make a hose has there fittings where to long and the hose would have kinked so put it back on

I use a oil resistant hose from auto silicone hoses, ktec use similar.

I just use 16mm hydraulic hose from eBay £10 a metre

Cheers for the opinion lads I'm gona give myself a week or so away from the car...that way I can get all the parts together and get it done at once

Had a few issues since last update! Biggest one has been motivation. But when I finally did get some i powered through the car.

First issue was why it would fire up and die straight after... turned out to be an immobiliser fault.. got that sorted

Then moved on to the car and found rust in the drivers side rear sill, cut it all out and plated it with a panel from a cup it was breaking

After that I powered on and rebuild the car as I had booked it in for mapping at EFI for early may.

Car made it to EFI thanks to fraser Jamieson but things didn't go to plan

Silly misses on my part and also found the fuel pump, fuel reg and alternator were goosed [emoji30].

So have Chris trying his best it was back up the round and all new parts ordered

So far new alternator and fuel reg fitted,

Hoping in the next couple of weeks I'll get the rest of the issues sorted then MOT and alignment before heading back south for more mapping
