225 Clio Build

Any luck with brakes today mate?

Took it o the garage this morning for them to have alook at it, they found that there was air escaping from between the master cylinder and servo

So came up with the idea of putting a 406 v6 master cylinder in and re routing the pipes to the other side but that was about 4.30 so hopefully tomorrow

Was your pedal hard? I thought it was going to the floor?

No it was going to the floor mate, garage tried bleeding it first with no luck

Then blanked off the vacuum hose and seen that the air was coming out between the master cylinder and the servo

So they wanted too try put the master cylinder straight instead of having it twisted which isn't possible with the downpipe, so they wanted to try with a cylinder that has the fittings on the other side and have it straight that's why I went with the 406 cylinder plus its an upgraded cylinder for when I put my brembos on

Never had any issues with mine rotated. Do the breaks work at all? Is the servo rod even meeting up with the master cylinder?

I know yours was fine that's what's weird, yeah or it wouldn't go in otherwise, ill need to wait until tomorrow to. See what happens but I'm confident this will work

it would if you missed it completely. Any good pics of how it lined up during fitting?

Had to pull the driver shaft out to get into it

Also found me low pressure power steering pipe as been rubbing on the standard heat shield bracket and is now leaking so that'll be changed too

Should be done by the weekend if I can get the parts
