Hi guys,
My exhaust gases warning light came on in the 182 a week ago and having spoken to the local mechanic, he thinks it might be the Lambda Sensor after the cat. Had a new exhaust fitted 6 weeks ago so not sure if it's linked to that.
The light has been permanently on for the past week though now after he's read the fault codes and started it up again, the light isn't on any more. Done a few miles and not a sausage.
He wanted £175 to change the lambda sensor so hardly surprisingly I don't fancy paying that much! Question is does it actually need doing if the light isn't coming back on? I'll probably get it done anyway of course to be on the safe side but just wondered what peoples' experiences have been.
