A day at Mallory Park...

Me and Bazzon went to Mallory Park yesterday for an RSOC track day. Was a very good day and i really liked the track! two parts of the track you could touch 115-120mph and doing gerards at 90mph+ was just great. Car drove 3 hours there, thrashed on the track all day and drove 3 hours back. No problems at all (who says ITB's arent reliable )

One thing i must say is that if you are looking at doing track days, dont suffer for second best....get some Toyo R888's!

see me right at the beggining and towards the end. Looks near enough a minute a lap. Track was damp and esses had oil on them so had to seriously back off.

How did it go on track? What sort of cars was it similar too with the ITB's etc.

car performed very well! was keeping up with Focus RS's on the straights and leaving 205 1.9 gti's for dead.

One thing that was obvious was the Focus RS's LSD when they went round the hairpin. Could power out so much quicker.

330bhp Focus RS pulled a gap on the straights though

I wouldnt have them on a road car put it that way, rear one maybe, but our side ones are only 3mm thick. and very odd to drive with on the road due to the shutter.
