A nothing special BG 182 progress thread.

Hi all,

Bought a 182 in black gold two weeks ago.

It's going to be used as a fun car for the weekend and the odd commute.
I'm not currently planning on attending any track days.

There are some issues / items I would like to address and I'll document these in this thread.

That does look very tidy. I had 2 of these and it's a really nice colour when it's clean and when the sun is setting.

Ah, but is it hot or cold? Could be the wrong level....

It's got some pretty horrendous lacquer peel on the front bumper and mirrors. There's also some very small bits on the back bumper but otherwise the bodywork looks ok.

What's the mileage/history? Worth getting the paint done if it's in good condition all around. Black Gold is always sort after.

121k, pretty comprehensive history to be fair.

I'm not looking for perfection and I have no desire to throw loads of cash into it, but I am keen to make some easy wins - hence I'm on the lookout for a bumper and mirrors.

I've also bought a new aftermarket head unit as the current aftermarket one I really dislike.

Wanted something original looking so got this:

Looks tidy. Has it had the belts done recently? BG is great for a couple of minutes after a good clean.
May I ask what you paid for it as I need to sell mine!
