A work in progress...PIC HEAVY

Seat Leon Cupra 290
oh yeh, apparently it had some sort of camber that was putting strain on them or something like that, cant really remember but it was something like that
Not much text as I am fucked from all the fumes!
The gearbox was a state! So i bunged up all the holes in it with duck tape etc, left it to soak in AG machine cleaner and then once than had done its bit I jet washed it all off! which left a clean but not pretty gearbox! Dried it all up and gave it two coats of silver smooth hammerite and two coats of clear cote......FINISHED.

So I had to press on with sorting the interior out!
Grinded all the old bits of steel I had half arsed cut last week!
Removed the airbag loom
Remove the interior looms, removed all the clips and bagged them up.
Removed all the rubber seals and trim
spent about 5 hours masking the dash, interior and all the windows and wings up! never again! what a absolute s**t job that was!
My cousin came round to prime and paint it! spent a good while on the prep but was worth it the end!
We got rained off so had to do the silver and clear coat the next day! Pissed down all night so had to re mask most of the f**king thing!
Used 1.5 ltrs of cellie renault 647 and 1 ltr of 2k clear coat!
3 coats of each! Brap.

Good was supposed to collect it today but good old f**king renault lost a part, my crane is here for it!

Your exposure bias is set too high on the camera. Use the Av button on the top right of the screen in combination with the scroll wheel to bring it back down again.

Bloody pissing down so only got a bit done tonight.
Started to set the seats up, the frames have more holes in them than the shell does :/ so Im going to fill all the holes with weld, flat them off and start again! But I had to place the seat in to line up the seating position I wanted and mark it. Its hard with the clio as the wheel, seat and pedals are all offset so that some time to find a happy medium!
Also got round to fitting the eyelets and brace plates for them, not a fan of attaching harnesses to subframes! Lined them up in the correct place and drilled the holes, then wound the base plates on a screwed them up TIGHT.

Here is a snap shop at my bargain £40 split grommet for the loom from tweeks, robbin c***s Had no other option that would look neat though.
