abs ring??

has anyone changed ther brake discs on a 172? if you have and still have the old discs would it be possible to have the abs ring off the old disc as the half head that changed the discs on my car before i bought it forgot to put it on n threw it away.

Yes its possible to prize them off the old discs and tap them onto the new ones. Alternativly they are not much £ from Renault.

yea i kno its possible, i was wondering would anyone have one as renualt say i have to buy a new disc cuz they dont sell them seperatly.

more likely that the tey broke it and didnt tell you, they are quite difficult to remove, managed to get my off by being careful, dont think you can buy these from renault either cause they only sell them attached to the rear discs.

ive already had the wheel off n seen the abs ring is missing, would anyone have one on ther old disc of their ph1 172?

Hmmm just checked renault dialogys, the abs ring is definatly not available seperatly, Im sure Ive seen them somewhere.

Anyone who has a 172 cup will have some spare.
