Advice on buying this 182

http://www.hemelsportscars.co.uk/GetDealer.do?did=26870&pageid=1

not sure wether to get a 182 now or in june when the new RS clio is out and prices fall. Advice on this please?

First of all im looking for a 182 racing blue or petrol blue idealy with both cup packs.

Spotted this one on autotrader, has no cup packs, but i would probably put coilovers on, trophy alloys and can easily get the cup spoilers.

However its got 17000 miles and some dynamique or 172 alloys on it, gunna ring them tomorrow and ask about it.

how much would you pay for it and do you think theres something wrong?

Cheers

Does have sat nav on it though (V rare), so that will explain lack of cup spolier pack. Lack of wheels is odd.

Plenty of 18's about though so no need to worry about going for a car that does not seem right IMO.

I think there where only about 6 petrol blues made so that will be hard to find.

there were 9 petrol blue ones it was me who asked on renaultsport!

it dont seam right because of the alloys, and i would quite like the inbuilt sat nav.

No it bloody didn't, unless he really got arse raped at the dealers.

That lie would put me off, what else are they hiding!

i reckon you could get a fair bit off that asking price of 8995 as they probably dont no much about clios

Anyone know how much sat Nav was? I know Liam182 payed quite alot for his sat Nav'd one.

Petrol Blue and sat nav, on a 53 plate, was this one of Reno's press cars perhaps.

If it was , it would have been thrashed to within an inch of it's life.
This may then explain what happened to the original wheels?

A lot of cash that is for 53 plater.

Wrong wheels, alarm bells!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't realise 182's were available on 53-plates. Seems a weird one this - there's plenty others for sale, I'd keep on looking.

andy has a 53 plate one its on of the first out, ill probably keep looking just wondering what people thought of it

I'm not sure the new car will affect values that much so long as it has a good reviews (which it will) as they won't discount the new car much.
Definatly look elsewhere the Sat navs not amazing the wheels arn't right I'm guessing its been in a crash or hit a few curbes.

I would'nt go for petrol blue, looks nothing special in the flesh, when i brought my 182 they had a second hand one in the dealers and given the choice I would have gone for racing blue or the other blue

that car has been for sale for ages (about 6 months now) renault themselves were selling it for a while (with the right wheels, but not the stripes as in the press pic)

I thought i'd seen the reg before. Get a proper one which hasn't been cained to death.

alot of the HS53 L** plate ones are press cars, HS53 LGU was a press car as well and was posted up here. Not worth bothering with, been extremely neglected and had about 100 different drivers nail the erse oot them

They will have been run in like the recommend on here, so they will probably go well!
