AFR wiring, baffled by instructions

just got an afr, thought it would be easy but it starts rambling on. ok so ive connected the constant live, ignition live and -ve
then theres a green wire left that says i either connect to the ecu or lambda
baffled.
heres the instructions
stage 5 is the one im stuck on

and hears the back of the sheet, talking about heated o2 sensors,

i know about electronics, but not when it asks you to do a number of different things!

well you have to find out what type is on your car then it's easy

i think that some one who has changed one would know

but iirc i had a 2 wire lambda on my clio 1.6 16v

mines got 4 wires on the lambda (two white a grey and a black) and ive tried all 4 and nothing

you haven't baked the electronics by firing +12v up it?

nah cos it still has the opening ceremony and the LEDs light up

There the worst instruction's ever lol. I take it this is a system that use's the original sensor? You should of gone wideband instead of narrow on the original.

follow the bottom right picture. Having 4 wires means your lambda is heated!!
