Alloys and Induction Kits

  Megane Trophy
Right now I have a mk2 172

I need to know about alloys!
16s - mods needed, pcd, offset, width, tyre width, tyre profile
17s - same as above

fancy some speedline multispokes, or oz supperleggeras!!

Will 17s alter the handling a great deal?

And then induction kits,
what works best on the clio, sounds good, and performs well without hassle!

Cheers
Brad

mmm 17's wise if i get 7 inch with a 42mm offset say what arch mods are needed??
Car will more than likely used on track a few times a year!

stick with 16's or use 15's for track, maybe invest in some Cup alloys for your car

As for induction kits, i would only go for an enclosed filter like a Viper or BMC, open induction kits like a K&N are best for sound but they will loose you power due to the heat from the engine

what size are they? pro race 1's or the supperleggeras are the ones for me, more than likely in 16's as want a good ride and not to effect handling!!

Check out the new OZ Ultraleggera mate...and induction kit wise, Piper Cross Viper or a BMC CDA.

  EK9 + Mfactory gearing..
you can goto ET 48.5 (standard mk2 offset) with 16", im running ET45. as above tho 16" for handling. pro-race 1 only comes in 15" i think, but the pro-race 1.2 is very similar and about 6kg. also the maxogen IK if you are flush ;-)

I’m looking for an induction kit that will improve the engine note and not lose power. Ideas?

I don't want to wake the neighbourhood, just make her sound a bit throatier.
