Any tricks to fitting inner arb bushes?

Last job of the suspension refresh and I hate them. So so much.

Been using clamps but now snapped 2 of them so gonna have to go out shopping again. Car is up on axle stands and subframe is still attached to the car, at the moment. I will drop it off if needs be but I'd rather not.

b*****d cars.

I wipe a little bit of grease on all both the bush and the clamp.

I levered mine into place with a small leaver/pry bar.

Was easy.

Slightly longer bolts.

IIRC I used some slightly longer ones I found in the tub from when I broke my 182. You're bound to have a few lying around.

Did mine at the start of 2013. Lying under the car, outside at 3AM in like 0 degree conditions after many many hours I got longer bolts and thought I had done it. Andy put the car up on the ramps and the bottom hooks weren't even hooked in! LOL

Absolute pain the arse!

No but really, I'd push back for you.
Grease and a bar got it sorted was still a right f**king faff though!

I can understand that. lol

When i fitted my polly bushes i did the same, the 2 bolt holes dont line up untill the braket is almost closed, longer bolt didn't seem to work and also i didn't want a 2" bolt sticking out.

Glad you got it sorted though mate.
