Are my wipers sh*t or am I a pussy

  Mondeo STTDCI

Cos when recently when its been properly pissing it down with LOADS of spray in the dark I dive into the left hand lane and am happy sitting between 40-60mph, when you still get Mercs and Beemers and Jags and big rovers and that screaming past at 80mph.

Do they have extra special mega screen wipers...or am i just a pussy!

lol! Gonna reapply my Rain X but to be honest i wasnt that impressed last time i used it

Ever since i had my windscreen replaced, my wipers have been sh*t, and i replaced them.

They clear the rain but leave bloody great streak marks across the screen right in you line of view and its bloody annoying!

drive where you feel comfy mate, dont drive at 80mph in the rain if you dont feel in control!

Pussy

try getting the rain away that mixes with your screenwash rather than on your the rub on 1,the stuff you rub on seems to be crap on my car and make the window go greasey the screenwash stuff is sh*t hot

I had to be towed last night because there wasnt any power in the car, rain-x worked a treat without any wipers last night glad i applied mine, even if the car was steaming up!!!

Bought a pair of Valeo Silencio wipers a couple of weeks back and they are outstanding. £10 for a pair makes them outstanding value too!

Streak free when wet.. smooth, quiet and judder free when dry.

Wher did u get them from for that price?

I have always found that the BACK WINDOW WIPER of my 182 doesnt clear the back window enough...

every time you look up in the mirror, you have to wait on the wiper clearing the window....

MOTORIST DISCOUNT CENTRE in SLOUGH. Paid less than £10 for a pair of top quality wipers.

Whoa, a bit steep for those ^^^

Rain-X, its the way to go. Granted that it works best in heavy rain and doesnt clear spray without using wipers, but it helps IMO. I got on well with Champion wiper blades on previous cars, theyll go on the Clio when the Renault ones give up.

And clean em properly!

HELLLO to you!

Yes I do Tommy, and they are still crap, its only ever since i changed my windscreen, and yes I do wash that too, makes no difference though!

Its to do wiht sh*t on the windscreen blades, when you clean teh car wipe the blades several times to clean any dirt off them, also cleaning the screen wiht household window cleaner helps, but the best thing to use is alloy wheel cleaner, but dont for gods sake get it on the paint work

Got Bosch blades on mine at the mo and they are crap, brought soem silver ones from motorworld for the 1.2 and they were ace

  Full Fat 182 - Was..

rain away

You need to cream clean the screen first apply the rain away and then buff it off after dry then appl;y it again straight away and leave it on there preferably for 24hours to create a propper bonding to the screen

I did exactly this and my scree is still water repalant after 4 months!!!

r some of u useing the same sponge to clean your bodywork and windows?

if so then you may be transferring wax form your bodywork to your screen!!

just a thought

  Weeman sucks ****

Mine are fine with getting the water off but they whistle on the down sweep at over 60mph...its a right pain in the rectum!
