Assorted O-Rings??

My Sierra is up at the garage and needs a host of o-rings. Most for the power steering but one for the water pump housing and and a couple for the water injection.

in my infinite wisdom, I have lost the list of measurements that I was given by the mechanic and all of the old ones are scattered round his tool box with various other o rings that aren’t for my car… 🤦‍♂️

can anyone point me in the direction of a bag/box of o-rings that have an array of sizes?

I don’t want cheap ebay crap, they need to hold hydraulic oil and I’d like to fit and forget rather than the Chinese crap that seems to fall apart in a stiff breeze.

can anyone help??

Id be tempted to go to a specialist and get oem for the pas and water. Every time i use generic they seem to be slightly too small or too large, resulting in fail.

Graham Goode is out of stock, and OEM only list the inlet not the return. (Pas)

waterpump is available OE new so you think I should just crack on with that?

Have you tried PJ Motorsport Dan? I know he holds stock stuff, failing that are you friendly with the local ford dealer who could hook you up with the part numbers and cross reference or give you a size?

I can have a look tomorrow in work. I'm sure if they hold for hydraulic connections on wind turbines they should be ok for a car engine. We have a box with various sizes on the boat but I'm not sure how large they go.

how do you lose a list in this day and age? all my lists are in the WhatsApp message the mechanic sends me

or is it 1984 still in Daniel's world and everything is on beer mats and fag packets still? ;)

The mechanic is about 60, none of the young ones want to touch it presumably because they can’t plug it in.

so he gives me post it notes of bits needed if it’s for my own cars. Stock cars just get euro car parts stuff, but I prefer to get my own bits for my cars. I lost the post it note.

that’s how.

The lads use WURTH ones for the turbine's.
They don't have a size chart or any indication on them though.
Ignore those white labels, they are for the stores.
