Attempted some "propper" cleaning, Black gold 182

Thought i'd copy some of this over from my project thread as its where most people look.

Decided to start early and attempt to give some more shine to the paintwork rather than keep just cleaning it and waxing over the top of dullish paint.

Started off with a pressure wash, colli 476 still beading ok.

Prima Amigo and a new Hex logic white pad with larger backing pad was purchased.

Before that gave it a coat of Iron X on the body and wheels

Wax stripped (i think, looks like it!)

Went around the car with the Amigo/pad combo and pleased with the results, I used natty blue wax because I've not used it in a while.

That has some serious gloss levels mate. Very impressed. Amigo does shine through others.

Point to note. You're pad is a tad harsh for what is a glaze. Blue or Black hex is more suited. :)

Cheers everyone, makes it worth the time and effort after seeing what people think :)

Cheers gally, I think ill get one soon I thought it might be slightly too aggressive.

I want to actually correct the car, but all i seem to do is glaze/fill the swirls.

Should really get onto it but I never seem to work the polishes down enough and end up with hologramming, suppose i should man up but be sensible and finish off with a finer polish hoping for the best.
