b****cks... had my first ding in the cup

Not a big un quite a small one actually.

Been out for a drive and popped in at the shops on the way home to pick some milk up... pulled up to the kerb and ping there goes half my splitter. I didn't realise how high the kerb was. Really my fault for not being carefull enough but i'm pretty mad at myself.

How much are the splitters from Renault?

What a pain...small mistakes like that are always really annoying but i happens to us all.

Not sure in the price of the splitter from renault but I did see one for sale in the sale section on here.....think it was going for around 80 notes.

I just can't believe how careless I have been... I'm just going to keep an eye on e-bay and try to pick one up from there.

I've seen the one for sale but its based in leeds... I don't really have the time to drive down to pick it up as I am in college for the next 4 weekends!

I did notice that the splitter is being sold in Leeds....you could ask if he'd do postage as it probably wouldn't be that much.

K-tec do a carbon splitter for £100....looks very nice and I have contemplated buying one but at the end of the day I'd probably just do what Eddie has done after fitting it!

I think the cup splitters are £120 from renault or you could go fo a carbon fibre one from ktec racing there £100

need 1 my self but judging the state of my car think it can wait till the body work is sorted wonder what the chance of the insurance paying 4 one ?

I phoned my insurance company to see about a carbon one but theres no one in today who will say if they'll insure it or not so I've gotta ring back on Monday. If they'll let me I might aswell just put a carbon one on cos I've been after one for a while now!

The insurance might pay for it, the only problem you would have would be the fact that they are only standard on cups and Trophys.

is the 172 ment to have a lower spoiler ? or is it just ment to finsh with the painted bumper ? my local dealer told me mine was missing

meh can't be that hard can it? Thats another thing if I did go and get a carbon one the insurance company said that IF the insured it they wanted it to be fitted by a garage! Bit of a joke really!

FAO People with Broken Splitters... Get them plastic welded rather than buy a new one ..

Just had mine done and it looks ace .. :approve: not sure how much it costs as mine was done for free as it was damaged by a garage...

If there is anyone in Warrington that has a broken splitter I know just the place .. lol

Don't worry Rich I have no intension of giving my insurance company anymore money! They don't i've buggered the OE one all they think is that I want to put a carbon one on!
