Battery powered USB hubs.

Does such a thing exist?

I need a hub to power a couple of MIDI devices along with my Serato Scratch Live box (which needs a dedicated USB port). Keeping latency down is huge as I dont want any delay when triggering commands within the software I'm using.

An unpowered one might be ok but I dont want to risk it when playing out. And a powered one is sometimes out of the question due to various factors such as lack of plugs, hard to acces plugs, limited space etc.

Any ideas?

Are the midi devices powered? If so then this isn't an issue.

What are you worried about happening with a passive one?

No they're not powered. I just dont want there to be any latency. When I hit the pads on the controller, i want the command in the program to launch instantly whether it's creating a loop, launching a cue point, controlling an effect etc.
