my 172 is needing front discs and pads, recently had fluid and lines so looking for the best setup to finish the package!

was thinking Brembo HC and DS2500 is this still the best fast road setup?

probably only do a few track days a year if im lucky so most use is fast road

and finally where is the best place to buy these days, i noticed k-tec is doing ds2500 and brembo HC for £190 inc vat im sure they can be had cheaper than this though unless they have gone up since last time i looked (this was over a year ago!!)

cheers

Pm G172 he is THE brembo man. I've got brembo hc's and standard renault pads and it seems good enough for road use imo.

brembo hcs and ds2500 are very very good IMO. Recently did a track day at Donington and this set up, combined with braided lines and ATE superblue fluid, was consistently good all day long with not a smidgen of fade.

G172 is your man for the discs - something ridiculously cheap like 45quid delivered

discs and pads ordered from G172, went for Brembo OEM pads just to get it through an mot and get it back on the road, ill replace them with DS2500 after winter as its only going to be on the road for a few months before getting locked up for winter again!
