Best thing to stick number plate on?

Not sure if this is the right section but I want to know what's the best for sticking on a number plate? I have pressed metal ones and I've tried number plate tape and the back ones stuck on tidy but the front was coming off so I took it off and tried out some Velcro woke up this morning went to college and realised the front one fell off luckily my mother phoned me to tell me it was outside the house.

I used so good double sideded tape from my work, was like a foam type, stuck it to the number plate then gave it a dull heat, stuck no problem with no issues at all

I use Velcro coins. Very strong, and it means you can remove them easily when you wash your car.

+1 for the velcro coins, fairly cheap in halfrauds. They hold really well

What about silicon? Ive never used it but could do the job???

May try the Velcro coin,thinking about screwing the one side of Velcro where the plate holes are then gluing the other side to the plates with this extra strong stuff I have. Got the old plates screwed on for now

Silicone would just harden after time and fall off.

Tiger seal would work, if you never ever ever want to remove your registration plate

Got some Velcro coins for mine after spending most of the afternoon with tar-x trying to remove the industrial tape on it before. Means I can easily switch over the plates for MOT etc

3 per plate and they're not falling off lol, they can hold 1kg each.

I've used the Velcro tape you can get in halfords. Been on the car for a few years constantly taking them on and off and they still stick solid every time.
