Black centre caps fitted.

Thanks to Craig I sourced three black centre caps so I only had to order one from Renault... £25 if you're curious. Mental eh.

Fitted them the other day and sealed the wheels with Poorboys at the same time.

For a crappy bit of black plastic, they make a massive difference I reckon.

I've got to fit my Eibachs and HIDs next and decide which F1 livery (Warren's given me a few ideas) I'm using, then it's ready for Le Mans.

Any excuse eh? you'll put a photo up to display tiny stones in your tyres next :)

Just jeffin, looks lovely - first pic I've seen of it, barring your avatar. Hope its lived up to your expectations.

Looks spot on! good to hear you sealed the wheels as i had a little laugh when i saw a previouse post where you said you were using ramps to change the centre caps.

Car looks better everytime i see it. Can i suggest some carbon exhaust trims next. I just fitted some to mine and its by far the best thing i have done to both my 200s

You don't have to mate. I'm hopefully doing them this weekend so I'll give you a hand with yours soon after if you like?

Bought them mate. They're Eibach Pros, so only a small 15mm to 20mm drop with only a little degradation in ride.

The 40mm+ H&R's were too much drop IMO. If I'm going for that height, it'll be later on, and using KW's.

looks great...i still cant believe renault sell black centres but dont include them with speedlines! typical Renault logic there?!

those exhaust trims look rather tasty though, i prefer the akrapovic ones but it would be sacriledge to fit those without the system.

look forwards to seeing the springs on,

I really need to get some of those centre caps, but sack paying £25 each.

Also, I hope it looks awful on the eibach's. I really don't want to spent more on mine. :p

Awesome as always chris, mine are on their way!

I'm just going to end up copying your car exactly haha! I'm keeping a keen eye out for some photos of your car on eibachs. Need to make my choice of springs (if any).

LOL. I'll get some pictures of it looking loads better soon. ;)

6000k HIDs and 20mm lower.

Haha, yea ok.

I looked into the H&R springs, just for that extra bit of lows, but sort of lost interest after a while.

I've got 5000k in mine. Daytime and night time they are a very close match to the misses cooper S xenon's.

Oh yea, got a dirty back end yet? ;)

I want my money back you told me they were good ;)

I'm on the fence with modding the suspension on my Clio, reason being on past cars I've been down both the coil over (adjustable Bilsteins) & Spring route (Eibach) & both completely ruined the car as a day to day runner. Speed bumps where a massive c*** & ruts in the road etc not to mention the rattling it started to cause & feeling like my teeth where going to fall out lol.

I think 200's would look mega lowered a tad as do the race cars :/ let me know how you get on with yours mate I'm intrigued. & what about your warranty ?

Yeah, that's why I'm going for the Eibachs over the H&R springs. Mind you, the Cup chassis is pretty hard anyway, much firmer than the Cup chassis 182... so a little bit more won't be bad.

My mate's an RTE so warranty is never an issue for me. lol.

Can't wait to see this when its a little lower. All the little touches make it a 100x better.

Don't get those carbon bumper trims. At least the OEM items look like metal. Sort of. Why would any exhaust be made of carbon fibre? Or are they meant to look like brake ducts for when you're reversing?

Each to their own of course.

EDIT: Your car looks awesome BTW. Just no full-frontal shots if you please.

Nope, they're metal trims but the exhaust is about an inch inside of each trim, like you said.

I quite like the satin wheels but they're a nightmare to keep clean, being satin. They even streak if you don't dry them off. Ugh.
