Hi guys!
Well, to the point.
My brake caliper rattles constantly going over uneven road, potholes, cats eyes.
The rattle seems to be the wheel side of the caliper striking the brake pad.
The noise is absent when the brakes are pressed, even slightly so it's definetly a braking fault.
I have (or my brother in-law has) changed the slider pins and rubber boots on the pins.
Noise it still there,
He reckons a knackered carrier? (Expensive part @ £90 so second opinion) ?
There is no fluid leak etc
Brake pads are good, and roters dont look or feel worn.
The left hand side caliper is solid as it should be!
Thanks for any help!
Edit to add: I can move the caliper and re-create the rattle by hand!
