Breaking a Clio- are my figures ball-park?

but did you try speedbump jumping after the new box was fitted? as if so i'm sure that therein will lie your problem.

My interest in buying this is very quickly wavering.............

no it was the speedbumps that caused the driveshaft to pop out which required the new box, but not directly. i dont remember getting any air of the bumps mind. i did another few miles in the car and all was fine, then as i went to pull out from a junction i lost drive.

probably the only thing i never changed, but it needs it doing now as the cv joints are starting to click. my fault for fitting powerflex bushes and solid top mounts. cv being next weakest point i suppose.

can't rule anything out, but the problem doesn't differ under drive or coasting and there's no vibration on acceleration

i'm not sure, but car went to a well-known renault sport specialist and they changed the rack @ £550. after that expense i lost the will slightly
