Whats the best pads for minumim dust apart from standard?I currently have brembo max disks and green stuff but they will need replacing soon.

They do go off very quickly. Put any real heat into them and you may as well be using bars of soap. IIRC some people have used them on track with no issues - they must drive like Miss Daisy TBH. Greenstuff are strictly for the road IMO, and not especially good at that, either.

Stage 2 done - hoses and fluid. I can't say as I can feel a huge difference with normal road driving. Perhaps a slightly more positive pedal feel but placebo could easily be a factor. I presume the benefit will be felt on track. At least I now have new fluid that isn't going to boil. The original sh'it was also a very dark brown

guessing he's on about the hoses and fluid dude, not the pads. and i dont think you'd be able to notice a huge amount from the hoses / fluid just driving normallly other than a firmer pedal.

On track is where the lines will really shine Roy, none of this squishy inconsistent pedal malarky.
They're good, very good, but draw far too much attention from the firework display everytime you brake!

I found greenstuff to offer a slightly improved pedal feel. Ok road pads as long as they don't get too hot.
CL pads were ~£100 for the front set. Worth every penny. They are not road pads though. Quite grabby when cold, and squeal like pigs.
Yeah I guessed as much. I'll see how it all performs on track on Saturday. Put it this way - Brembo Max + CL + Castrol SRF fluid...I'm not expecting any fade or boiling fluid
Well, this setup performed extremely well at Rockingham yesterday. So well that I boiled the fluid in 4 laps FFS.
So I bled a little through, and ripped out my arch liners and fogs, ghetto style in the paddock. After that ,the pedal was quite soft, with lots of travel, but still amazing stopping power. With no passenger and a nearly empty tank of fuel, I stayed out giving it death for 30 minutes with no issues at all, which is quite something for Rockingham International Long at maximum attack.
So, the next plan is to change the fluid again, for something less expensive this time, and perhaps get some ducting in there to help keep the bloody calipers cool. Is ' Castrol Response Super Performance Synthetic Brake Fluid' up to the job?
Toyo R888 and coilovers possibly to follow. This could well become a very expensive hobby

For sure, I was a bit pissed at the fluid boiling TBH, but after some consideration I concluded that the best fluid in the world will boil if you put enough heat into the piston without getting rid of it. Removing the fogs & liners was a huge improvement. If I add ducts, I reckon this braking combo will be pretty much unbeatable on standard calipers.
Plenty of people commented on how hard the Panzer Bean was pushing. Apparently it looked crazy squirming around, with the back end sliding hard on the anchors and then lifting the inside rear on the way to the apex. Amazing fun. The Clio is a cracking little track car. The fact that it's quite soft and floaty only serves to teach me how to drive better IMO.

TBH I was utterly abusing the brakes. It's already known as a brake killer circuit, and I showed them no mercy. The stopping power was so much better than standard, and so resistant to fade, that it was inevitable the fluid would boil. Ducts will make it pretty bomb proof I think.

Soirry if I've missed it somewhere but, do you have any pics/links/guides? I've been posting quite a lot of brake related s**t recently so I may have missed or forgotten
I've been looking at some of the inlet/duct kits on Demon Tweaks. Am I right in thinking a 70mm kit will fit the standard fog surrounds? I'm unsure about how or where to secure the hose near the calipers.
The Yozza kit looks 'hardcore' but f**k spending £165 on a couple of bits of fibreglass and some flexible pipe

brake squeal rocks. wash your wheels and doors every other day though or you'll be fooked!
great pad. mine never wore down and i killed a set of discs (and wheels) on them. will save them for a rainy day.
