T-cut is quite good.

Oh and after you t-cut, you need to put some turtle wax on to protect the paint.

For someone who isn't going to go all out, AG/Megs products will be fine.

I use Megs shampoo. SRP. EGP. Megs tyre shine.

A decent mitt and a few microfibres are a must, too. £40/50 should do it..

Tom, as Justin has said, Auto Glym Super Resin Polish, with some Megs applicators are very useful. They are also both available from Halfords or online.

Extra Gloss Protection, again from Auto Glym is very useful as a sealent and produces decent results.

A wash mitt, again available in Halfords is a must, along with something like Megs Gold Class Shampoo and a decent drying towel.

Something like that. Covers most base's. Only thing I cant find online at Halfords is the rectangular Microfibre Applicators but I know they do them instore, and that would give you 6 products for the price of 4.
