New gulag looks like a shitshow. Looting is completely switched up and more like a proper BR style. AI bots all over the map too.

WZ looking a bit weird right now it's definitely very different. MP looked quite good ground war looked fun.

Looks like PUBG meets COD.

I've only seen a couple of clips but I think for those who don't play other BR games (me) it might take a while to get used to the whole bag system. Looked a bit clunky earlier.

Did I see multiple people in the gulag before? The big outside one?

No slide cancelling.

Hopefully the MP beta give me a bit of a look at the gunsmith tomorrow night.

As I understand it gulag is 2v2 but there's some sort of AI bot in there with a lot of health. You either kill the other 2 or kill the AI guy who drops a key which you use to escape.. 👀🤐

Played the mp. Wtf have they done with slide cancel ffs. The mechanics are good in warzone....just needs better audio,graphics and a new map ffs.

Slide cancel was an unintended feature but a lot of people seemed to hate it which is odd because it wasn't exactly hard to do and it did make movent feel more fluid (something about closing the skill gap). I imagine it's just a matter of getting used to. From what I've seen you can still slide cancel but not sure it's even as smooth as before as it still looks a bit clunky tbh. Just got to get used to that muscle memory again.

It's all about the bunny hopping again I guess 😂

Some "interesting" points made here. It's not just going to be a new map like most of us probably wanted. It's going to be a whole new game. Not sure I like what I've seen so far.

It looks like it’s turned into a proper BR, which is good. It should even the playing field a lot more as well seeing as it looks to be more rng based. The looting looks very much like PUBG? I’m sure they’ll tweak a few bits.

I’m so glad they took slide cancelling out. It was one of those exploits where, because everyone else was doing it, you pretty much had to do it as well.

Maybe that's why it looks odd to be. I've never played, or only had the odd game on other BR games.

Hopefully some tweaks make it better.

Warzone was its own little thing that called itself a BR but that's kind of why it was so successful. The proper BR's were out there but everyone still jumped to Warzone. That said I like that they've completely changed it up. I've never really played a proper BR so I'm willing to give it a good go and I do like the more strategic aspect to it. Warzone has got pretty stale now so if it was the same feel with a different map it wouldn't feel like a new game.

i played vanguard for about 10 minutes and it was crashing my fairly new ps4 pro.. got side tracked with work and life and forgot I even owned the game.

i now have a choice, get the dust out the ps4 and go again..

or run it up on the pc, i58600k with a 1070super..

I’d say both machines are behind the times…

Probably what I’ll do… the pc is likely the best option, the graphics are superior vs the ps4, so likely to be closer to the ps5. If it struggles it’ll be battle royal..

my issue is cheaters when it comes to pc games, the owners see it as acceptable.. my brother gets all the hacks and thinks it’s perfect normal.

That’s why I normally use a console, less chance of getting bullsh-tted all night.

i wonder if SBMM will be cranked to the max, I love giving up connection speeds to play a tournament level deathmatches

I think there's a day and a half left for the PS4 Beta and then it'll be a similar 2 days next week on PC.

I can't ever really remember cheaters ruining MW for me, 5-10 mins and you're out of the game so meh, longer matches/BR though yeah it could be a problem.

I find it's best to just do this though and assume they're just a better player.

This perception that everyone who has a pc is automatically hacking really grates on me.

I’m afraid you’ll find that your brother is a bit of a knob and it’s not considered acceptable to anyone who actually enjoys playing games.

I’ve played a few games on the PS5. It’s very impressive how it looks and runs tbh. I couldn’t get my keyboard to work on it though.

Had a few games on PS5. It’s ok, a bit disappointing as it’s not wowed me.

also dining the ps5 controller difficult - Xbox is so much better layout, feel like my thumb is stretching too far.

is there anyone that uses a pad with the closer left thumb stick like Xbox ?

Only had a go on the MP when at work on my PS4 with a mobile data connection.

Map sizes are too big for 6v6 IMO. Had this problem on MW2019 though with the Palace map being used.

I'll see if I get a chance on the PS5 this week to see how different they are.

I have the game coming down now so will give it a spin this evening.. it’ll bait me in with its low ttk, no sbmm, and decent connection..

Then when it’s released itll be 8 shot ttk. High sbmm and I’ll be on 120ping

28gb I think it was on PlayStation.
Couple of game play modes although I've only played the 6v6 respawn modes but there's a few others where you don't respawn (although I believe you can be revived)
