Can you turn off the bit that remembers what sites you've been on?

Not because of what people think lol, this is the g/fs laptop and its her birthday soon so want to look at stuff online but she'll see the history...

If i delete the history it deletes it all right? In which case she'll think ive been having fun online ;)

So can you turn it off for one session?

in IE, retype what you have seached for in the top search box (should appear below) then click the delete icon next to it. Then delete history for the day (you can select the individual sites you don't want here to see. Then go into internet options and delete all the cookie. Takes two min. No other way to stop it IIRC
