Candy Cane Clio - Yay or Nay?

Seeing as I can't afford to actually modify my car (Elvis), I thought I'd do some colouring in on the bump strips and mirror plastics (currently faded black) instead.
At first I was like, 'Yeah I'll just colour code it to red', but then I thought, 'Wait, why not have white bumpers?' and then I thought a bit more and decided 'why not have white wheel trims as well?' (yeah, alloys would be nice ) To be honest, the more I think about this, the worse my car's going to end up looking.... wait, what about some white speed stripes as wel.... no, wait.

Hahaha, so anyway, I think the all red looks a bit dull and leaving it black isn't helping anything.
What are your thoughts and suggestions on the matter?

I think anthercite would look good. Heres a pic of a 2.0 nova that i helped build. red car, anth skirts and lower bumpers with white wheels looks good IMO
