Car re-dyno'd

After all the talk of the dodgey 197 ECUs, i had myself worried that im losing power cos of it.

Took it back to my remapper and explained the situation, so he agreed to retest the car to see if it had lost any power. Results were:

Flywheel: 215bhp @ 7255rpm
Wheels: 182.8bhp
Torque: 169.8 lb/ft @ 5739

Gotta say im happy with that result, it actually made 4bhp more than last time. This was, apparently, down to my very low mileaged engine loosening up abit and the ecu adapting itself better to the cams.

Which is why the back is stripped of all creature comforts and i have £1200 of adjustable coilovers and uprated brakes. :rasp:

Miltek (was decatted but didnt run well)
Matched inlets
Custom ITG filter set up and airfeed
RS Tuning map!!

And my setup is:

Cams
Yozzasport exhaust with decat
Matched inlets with PTFE gaskets to suit
Standard airbox with itg panel filter
And of course remapped

An expensive mod, but only thing thats out there atm to get a decent power gain.

Unless u got £4000 for a k-tec turbo lol.

Well launched the clamborghini and snapped the passengers driveshaft clean in half (couldnt take my brutal power) so its been off road for a week All better now with fresh oils

Yeah bought the V3 coilovers, just waiting on k-tec to deliver! :boring:

only got 4800 miles on the clock, still fresh as a daisy!

Wicked mate! Im gonna get those coilovers near the end of the year! Let me no what you think compared to the cup suspension when you get em set up! Your car does look sweet, bet the xtra power is fun, mines on 37k and def feels like it has loads of power as standard, think ill just get the same mods as you lol! Follow suit like kev lol!

Are you using spacers Ben ??

Just looking at a normal 197 if it was dropped i think the wheels would look pants tucked away inside the arch

If your using them what are you running and links prices would be top stuff

I bought some spacers, but have decided not to use them because my local tuning garage has told me that it wont go super low without rubbing, so cant be arsed with the hassle.

So they're for sale?
