Carbon Fibre Bonnet? How much lighter?

Lookin for ways to make my dci lighter atm cos obviously it'l make it quicker whilst improving my fuel economy even more hopefully

Would gettin a carbon fibre bonnect reduce the weight by much?
I don't really wanna take teh rear seats out and stuff like that cos i occasionally need to take passengers.

Lighters wheels mayb?

How much lighter is the 172 cup over the full fat? Seems to be half a second quicker to 60

89kgs.

Back seats and spare wheel are the easiest/quickest gains, and it's completely free.

Don't underestimate how much things weigh either...my rear speakers and lower seatbelt mounts came to almost 7kg, and the front carpet/underlay was 9.5kgs.

ive taken out the spare, but thats cos i don't hav one that fits anymore lol

Any ideas how much the rear seats weigh? would i notice any gains in takin them out?

if its a dynamique, the standard rear seats weigh around 20kg. i only know this cos i sold mine and had to weigh them for courier

Don't know what mine weighs, but a guess is that I've taken approx. 50kgs out which should put me at about 970kgs.

I'll get round to dragging it all out of the attic at some point and I'll put it on the scales at work.

i fitted my carbon bonnett today, at least 3- 5 kg lighter if not more
