Not many on here like bodykits mate (me included) subtle mods are what you need til you get some NCB and then save for when you have NCB to get a better car or do mods you can take off and sell when the time comes

can see what ya sayin but my plan is to keep it for quite a while only got a 1.2 engine cause of insurance but looking to do a conversion later on perhaps a williams engine then aim for havin one of the fastest clio around

problem with cheap bodykits is the fitment is bound to be sh*t, so youll be paying more money to get it fitted to your car properly.

Not a fan of that kit either.

If you want to do it then go ahead... just get a quote from an insurance company before u even consider paying for it thou.

No offence mate but keep it standard for a few years then when you look back at this post you will realise how daft you sound... Who realistically is going to buy your car from you when the time comes to sell it!?!? Save your money and buy a real Williams in a few years time.

Thats fine mate, its your perogative after all. I think all people are pointing out is that theres being different and theres making your car look awful (in some peoples opinion) while increasing your insurance and making it next to impossible to sell on again.

whatever u do mate, if u get it done, make sure u declare it with the insurance company, because if you go driving about with it undeclared, your pretty much driving around with no insurance.

you are talking to people with quite a bit of experience on here mate, to be fare you have only just started driving and you are not that well set in the car market, listen to what people advise, and of course make the decision YOU want, people are giving there opinion to help,

you can be different but keep it relativily stock anyway, there are some real mint cars in the club that dont look to ott

i see where ur coming from mate i was like that wanting a bodykit for my car but i realised they look awful on cars and they spoil them especially clios!
take peoples advice hopefully youll thank them later if you listen to them.
my advice would be keep it subtle u can make a car stand out and different whilst keeping it subtle.

hmm.. never been one for this type of thing. I wont sl*g it off like some people....but...not my cup of tea.

I was in your posistion when i was 17/18 had just started driving, wanted a bodykit on my 1.2 clio then began chatting to the people on here and meeting up and going to meets and seeing other peoples cars and im now at the pioint where i want performance more then looks.

Now got a mk1 RSi, with exterior mods, but they are all suble, even if the car is stupidly low.

Anohter thing you need to do especially at that price is look at teh kit before you buy it for fitment etc etc a price that cheap usually implies that the build quality os sh*te and the mounting points may well be out of place etc
