I've just ordered a few more carbon goodies from Chris Powell on here.

So now I'm waiting for:

Carbon Dash Strips
Carbon Gear Insert
Carbon Bullets
Carbon Rear Diamond

Looking forward to it and it will finish off my carbon purchases. Dont want to go too tacky with it all

So the plan for this weekend is to get the car back to a roadworthy state, things I need to get done this weekend are:

Fit standard front shock as old one is leaking
Slightly drill out the hole for the bonnet peg to go in so it sits flush
Fit Standard Exhaust until I get new 2.5" system
Wet sand and polish new xenons and fit them
Fit front bumper along with arch liners
Fit Bimarco bucket seat and harness
Remove carpets, anymore sound proofing and remove passenger seat.
Find and fit a 1.2 spoiler until my trophy one arrives
Remove wheels and give them a good clean with wolfs de-ironiser, APC, Polish and seal.

Forgot to add, was waiting for the new BTM system to be made and trial it on my car, however this would only work if I wasnt planning on using the car again in the next week or 2.

As I'm now planning on using the car again I've got it booked in with Local Exhaust guru's AAS who are going to build me a 2.5" system which will compliment the turbo build I plan in the future. I'm getting it recessed so thinking of going for a straight cut tailpipe similar to cup racer, just recessed.

Future plans for this year are now:

Fit Trophy spoiler, hopefully coming from Lewis's ITB'd Cup

Get some new billstein or Kw Coilovers

Remove the Air Con

Find some 4 pots

Refurbish wheels in Black by S.E.M wheel specialists

Remove Air-Con courtesy of Fred@BTM

Potentially opting for cams when I get the dephaser changed but not sure If I'll just put the money towards a forged Low Compression bottom end build

Good plans mate wouldn't worry about four pots, you only need them if you are kicking out serious power, money could be better spent on cams or ITBS :)

I will need 4 pots eventually mate, been having lengthly discussions with a friend who is well into his boosted clios, the plan is to by december have a fully forged bottom end, ARP bolts etc etc with a nice GT28RS sitting on there, hoping for a nice 300bhp and as near to 300 lbs ft as I can get

I'll be doing as much of it as I can but will be guided through it by a few of the local lads who love a bit of boost in their clios

Yeah I know I wish I hadn't sold them tbh.

For everyone who keeps Pm'ing me about them, I no longer own them, however I'm very keen to get them back.

Also they're Speedline 2110 'Challenge' wheels in 16"

AFAIK - it is possible to buy just a kit from Sodemo... However they have their own very strong engine bottom (they made them for Formula Renault 2000 and some Formula 3 F4R-based cars too) with dry sump etc... My mate hase card build on this engine - it is more then 500 bhp and more then 800 Nm torque!!!

Update:

Today saw me finally get my act together and get the cup back together.

I'm not completely finished, however I have spent 8 hours on it getting everything done properly.

I've fitted all my carbon parts, trophy spoiler, front bumper, doorcards, a-pillars, bonnet

The parts that took quite a while to fit....

Pure motorsport strut brace and top mounts, not too much work a little trimming here and there, big thanks to my brother for helping me with those.

Bimarco bucket seat and omp mounts with frame. Now I'm a big lad, 6ft 2" and weigh quite a bit so getting a decent seating position, It's taken many hours of swearing, realising I'm much overweight and many drilling to get it sitting at a decent height, could still do with moving back an inch, so will be looking at a custom frame in the near future.

Bilstein coilovers, tried leaving them in a bucket full of coke for a week to free the adjuters off, it never worked, however my brother did take them into his work for me and managed to get them free'd off. So they're on the car now anyhow, looking forward to seeing what all the fuss is about

New wheels....

After a last minute decision myself and JamesT87 on here decided to meet up for my new wheels, the last minute decision was made last night, with a 70 mile journey in the snow I've got to say there was some arse twitching moments, thanks again to james.

I'll have some pics of the car up shortly, probably at the weekend when I get chance to clean it :)

Really looking forward to seeing this now mate!

And im looking forward to the 26th meet, should be a good one!

I have just got to sort the camber out on mine now and it should be all done :)

Had my first drive of it tonight, its quite nippy with just the one seat in it, running standard exhaust atm so the flow rate isnt as good, choking the old boy up, still didnt fail to disapoint.

Small update:

Car is now back on the road and in daily use, a little bit of trial and error with some parts, trying my best to make it as user friendly as possible for a lightweight clio.

I'm thinking possibly going back to two recliner seats, probably recaros

Also it's booked in to AAS - Advanced automotive systems in Newcaslte for Thursday 8th March to get a full custom 2.5" Cat back system made.

Whilst I was there I discussed getting a full weld in cage for it, it looks like I'll have to gut the complete interior, dash, carpets etc and also have the windows taken out. The price he quoted was between 8-1000 quid. I didnt think it was a bad price at all, whilst everything is out I may go for a full white interior respray as I quite like the look
