Chrome Wheel help (on job now)

Hi,

Friends Dad asked me to attack his Bentley.

It has chrome wheels that have tarnished badly. Wondering what you would recommend to help make them look a bit better

They have been cleaned, they will be iron X'd and I'll use tar remover too. I have clay with me, but no real polish. Just Tripple/Mercury

I would hazard a guess that that's corrosion of some sort...

Chemical cleaner only. Clay will scratch them. Leave them for now and order some Werkstat Prime.

Shoot me down in flames but wouldn't duraglit metal polish wadding sort that that out? I used to get stuff like that on my bike as a kid and duraglit used to get rid of it. My old man used to use it on his old taxi that had tons of chrome on it.

Interesting. I've got a chrome bike that went like that and I just gave up trying to sort it out... maybe there's hope yet!

Tar remover shifted a lot of grime, but a lot still there.

Yes, because it's a chemical reaction. So you need a chemical cleaner.
