Been on here for a while, so it was about time I got a Clio. Nothing you haven't seen before :quiet:
The MOT and Tax ran out on the Integra, with it needing a few bits I knew it was going to be an expensive Winter, so in November I spotted a 182 fairly cheap. Went to look at it twice with a friend, with only part service history I was a bit worried as I knew the belts were a big job on these.
Stuck it up on the ramps and had a good look - spotless. It passed it's MOT that very day with no advisories whatsoever.
So I p/x'd the Integra and took it. I miss it
Had a good back road blast in the 182 and loved it. Oh and it doesn't have the cup packs, but I'm not arsed - I didn't pay more than a grand for the car after all.
Some may recognise my mates 197:
With the history worrying me, I took it to Renault for the belts to get done.
I had intended on going down the sheep route - Eibach's, remap etc but I got a nice quote on a classic Scooby, so come the end of the year I may part ways with the 182, if not, then I will go down the sheep route
For now, just put petrol in it and drive it!
It's pretty much standard bar the Turinis and the exhaust, Janspeed decat.
Couple of videos of the exhaust:
That's all :star:
