i own a clio 16v(only 22,000 miles!!!) and it is completely standard apart from a full mongoose(de-cat) exhaust and a piperX indutction kit, ooh and some bosch super4 plugs which B.T.W. i would highly recomend and i was wondering if any one had any ideas for power gains. looking at spending around £1500 and reliability is my only concern, my valver is possibly one of the cleanest out there and i dont want to go f**king it up. options are; NoS or head, cam chip etc, dont fancy blowing £4000 on a turbo. any ideas???

, what was you car doing for all its life?
UM throttle bodies on a atd motor will gove great trcktability and power gains of about 15bhp..coupled with with a mild cam and head work (which wont decrease reliability) you can easliy get near the 100bhp/ltr mark.
i would personally go with TBs and some new cams, then you can port teh head later on if your not happy.
the car has mainly just been moved from showroom to show room hence the ridiculously low mileage and mint/new condition. BenR would you be able to give me details on prices and contacts for TBs??? would be much appreciated,also does no body like the idea of nitrous?? its SOOOOO tempting
