This car belongs to Bark on the forum

We've been planning on getting this car in for correction since last winter, now the weather has improved significantly up this region we decided it was time to get her in for a spruce up!

Car wasnt really that bad and tbh couldnt really get any decent before pictures due to the paint effect

Think mark knows how bad it was compared to now though

Rinse
Snow Foamed
Rinsed
Washed with microfibre mitt
Shuts cleaned
Clayed with dodo supernatural and last touch as a lubricant
Dryed down
Taped up with masking tape (ran out of 3m)
Machine polished using flexipad and 3M pads, using menzerna and 3M compounds
Washed again
Finish Kare Sealent
Dodo blue velvet applied with sonus pad
AG super resin on all glass apart from windscreen
Plastics (interior and exterior) dressed with poorboys natural look
Tyres dressed with megs high endurance
Alloy faces protected with poorboys wheel sealent (alloys were getting refurbed soon anyway)
Interior hoovered out

Again sorry for lack of pictures (had a lot of cars to do lately not really had time to take pictures)

Clay was bad

Tip top!

I remove all the strips from time to time, makes a better job. I half PC'd mine, N/S, bonnet
& roof, as i dropped it off last week for paint on the O/S. I'll let that settle for a few weeks then do the lot. Best colour, works well with silver Turinis ;)

Oh and you missed dressing the arches ;)

Doesn't need to be. Bit of AG vinyl & rubber care sprayed down the visible plastics makes all the difference :)

Good job Chris, wheres yours, not sold it again have you?
Affraid so mate, although I didnt want to, after mapping it I took it upto scotland to look at an r32 golf with a mate, after planting it off a roundabout right upto the limiter in 3rd I could smell oil, and about 60 miles later it started to lose compression etc and basically died

I got it recovered home etc and it ran fine until you gave it some throttle then started to die all over again, sold it for a grand with all the bits on :(

cool, we're still stocking up on various products etc so I shall put that on the list, do you have to work it in or is it literally spray it on and leave it to soak in?

I have been looking into getting something to spray on but havent found anything, I rarely get on DW so dont get my head filled full of expensive waxes I cant afford :rasp:

Spray it on. leave it. Soaks in nicely. Takes about a minute to do a car!

All Cups look like that on standard suspension. Its to do with its diet ;)

  Barge
I've, genuinely, never noticed that before. Most people do tend to lower them though so that's probably why.

Or I'm just a dumb bint.

  172 Cup
Finally got a freaking chance to post on this :)

Chris and Steve did an amazing job on this car and the pics speak for themselves!

I know the exhaust needs adjusting but the mofo just keeps dropping at every chance it gets!

It's sitting even slightly higher than normal on the front due to them being 182 springs, I've got Cup ones to go back on though just matter of time and monies.

Had intended on putting my plate on straight after getting it completed but it needed to wait until Monday gone, this is how she stands now:

Its not just the aircon. Its only Cups that sit like that, so this 89kgs must be pretty true. My sister has a Cupped 182, and that sits like mine did on sportlines!
