CLIO 172 SERVICE MANUAL (As there isn't Haynes one)

I dunno if this link has been posted before but here it goes.

There is a link at the bottom of this thread to the Renault Service Manual for the 2.0 litre (F4R 730) engine found in the 1*2's.

Although it is dated July 1999 and focuses on and has pics of the Clio Ph1 172, it is still useful for reference when doing work like Cambelt changes etc etc.

And also includes information about the

• Fuel & Injection System,

• Charging & Starting Systems,

• Cooling System,

• Clutch & Manual Gearbox Assembly (although Ph1 Dominated),

• Steering System

• Braking Sytems including ABS

• Air Conditioning Systems

I hope someone finds it useful as most of the information in it is Generic over the Rs 172/182 Clio range

thanks just what ive been looking for ive just sat at my computer for an hour while it prints every page out lmao, there is alot of specialist tools in there do you think renault would sell these through the parts desk? or anywhere else we could get hold of them????

Yes you can get them from Renault. Some you don't need, some you can fab yourself and some you can get after market versions.
