clio 172 vs 172 cup prices???

its only rarer because every c**t keeps crashing them.

2300 cups in one colour as appose to the most common ff colour of silver 1300???

This kids got issues, and yes the cup was uprated and strengthend and if you still dont believe me then tuff! i wont be loosing any sleep over it, I love the way people diss you when they know f*ck all themselves :rolleyes:

i had the choice between the two when i bought new, i went for the cup because i didnt care about the abs and aircon and i think it does look better. i always thought a cup should be about 500 quid less then a ff but if i was buying now id still but the cup even if it was more. i could go on and on as to why i think the cup is better but its just my opinion so i wont, but buy a cup ha ha

the cups look more aggressive?????? wtf. tell me the visual differences, bar the lack of xenons, plastic caps on the bumper or the wheels, oh or that really scary lookin cup sticker
ff 172 wont get beaten by a cup.
89k lighter is f all if ur a fat b*****d. i'd rather have all the toys and a nice interior to shag in and still sit beside you down an expressway

buffalo has just given me the push to look away from cup and go for ff172. looking at one tomorrow. 2001 phase 2 with only 27000 miles, all the toys/comforts. and only £5000

I love the nice interior......as much difference between the "nice interior" as there is in the speed difference. Yes the seats have a nicer cover and lumber support but come on...its hardly any different.

Everyone is obviously going to back their own car up and it is all down to personal opinion. I had the choice and went for the cup. Couldn't have cared less about aircon as I had a 5 turbo b4 so compared to that the Cup was a luxury lol. I went for it because of the little things that make a difference to me....the colour was the main thing..the wheels look better and however you look at it even the spoiler and splitter make a difference (how many people have fitted splitters to FF`s now as well as the wheels?) Wether people like it or not the Cup is always seen as a more performance orientated car regardless of how small the difference is. The fact is if you had two equally powerful engines with equally weighted drivers etc the lighter car will be faster.

Cups are cheaper than the equivalent FF with similar miles etc. But not by much!!

on a side note, the 36k service on a cup is cheaper due to lack of aircon, hehe.

also remember that cups 99% of the time make the power on RR sessions..... on the same runs this clubs done, the mk2 172's make less....
 
Aint the cups meant to be 3.00340506mm lower too?
Officialt yep 5mm at the front 7mm at the rear (Ithink its that way round and tolerances are +-5mm vs +-10mm on the full fats.

Uprated Hubs, alternator ad PAS pump and I'm stuck what else that have same shell same engine.

Yep but remember CUps got less drag via tensioners and air con pumps so should always be more powerful.
