clio 182 engine swap

guys ive found a cheap gordini blue with a blown engine which seems convenience as im currently breaking my 182 which the engine was rebuilt only 6000 miles ago, I was wondering if I put my engine in it with my mapped ecu what else would I have to change for it to get running , I was thinking only the ignition barrel so the key will fit, any help would be much appreciated not sure if this is the right post area if not I do apologise

I think you need to UCH, ECU and the immobiliser out of the key.

Don't take my work for it but I think that's all is required

I don't like the electrics on the new cars way over complicated what if was to just swap the engine would the engine run off the existing ecu already in the car?
