clio 182 exhuast removal

hi there
my girlfriends got a 182 was under it the other day and was gona take the exhuats off as bought another performance one but the original is in 1 piece it almost looks like you have to take whole rear suspension off to get it out otherwise cut it off?? has anyone done this? i wanted it to be able to go back on tho as the exhuast may not be to her taste

undo the 2 lower rear shock bolts (18mm) and jack the rear up high, it WILL come off in 1 piece, if you cut it, you're a bodger/pikey

cheers matey deffinatly not bodger dont wanna be pikey either lol ye i was in a rush so panic was like what the hell is going on lol so the rear will drop enough yes? even if the car is lowered ?

Yeah if you jack it up enough the springs will fall out anyway.

There wasa picture of a RB 182 with a Mark fish sticker jacked up with the rear axle hanging down and no wheels on, would give you a good idea but I don't know where to find it...

i took the back bumper off and pulled hard, it worked but was awkward, I had driven it on ramps so couldn't jack it any higher.

difficult but do-able.

so much more fun putting on a 2 part cat back system
