try changing your quotes online to adding named driver- An older female ( it doesnt matter who it is as they will never drive it)
Say your cohabiting & she has a really good driving record- your premium should go down-
As for the bidding on the car-- In my time with ebay ive never seen an auction for a car go from £299 to 3k in one hit-

Ive had to relist this as eBay removed it.
